Isolated from whole human livers that are not suitable for liver transplantation. The cell composition consists of a homogenous population of hepatocytes which are characterized by viability, morphology, plating efficiency and the following enzyme panel: CYP1A2, CYP2A6, CYP2B6, CYP2C8, CYP2C19, CYP2D6, CYP2E1, CYP3A4 (midazolam), CYP3A4 (testosterone), GEN, SULT, UGT, and AO.

Upon receipt, immediately transfer each cryovial into the vapor phase of a liquid nitrogen storage Dewar. Cells are viable for at least 2 years when stored under these conditions.
Donor Information Includes:
Age, sex, race, diabetic status, smoking history, alcohol use, and any co-morbidities.
Serology results include (positive or negative):
CMV, EBV HBV, HCV, HIV‐1, HIV‐2. Additional serology results may be provided upon request.
Culture results include:
Negative: Bacteria, Yeast, Mycoplasma and Fungi
