Cryopreserved, Non-Characterized Plateable Primary Human Hepatocytes are isolated from whole human livers that are not suitable for liver transplantation. The cell composition consists of a homogenous population of hepatocytes which are characterized by viability, morphology, plating efficiency and various functional testing including multiple CYP450 basal and induction levels including CYP3A4, CYP2D6, CYP2C9, CYP1A2, and CYP2B6.

Applications
Novabiosis Non-Characterized Plateable Primary Human Hepatocytes can be used for induction, toxicity, drug metabolism, drug screening, drug transporter activity, drug-drug interaction, among other uses.

Product Storage
Upon receipt, immediately transfer each cryovial into the vapor phase of a liquid nitrogen storage dewar. Cryopreserved human hepatocytes are viable for at least 2 years when stored under these conditions.
Quality Control Testing
Donor Information Includes:
Age, sex, race, diabetic status, smoking history, alcohol use, and any co-morbidities.
Serology results include (positive or negative):
CMV, EBV HBV, HCV, HIV‐1, HIV‐2. Additional serology results may be provided upon request.
Culture results include:
Negative: Bacteria, Yeast, Mycoplasma and Fungi
